MADE FOR OUR GRANDCHILDREN

We founded redew in 2014 and the redew foundation was established in 2015, but it took until late 2017 before we finally entered the market. Of course we under estimated how much time it would take to build redew, our way. still, we’re happy it did. The product wouldn’t have looked this great otherwise.

We’re only getting started, every day that passes, no matter what we achieve, we are still mostly proud of what’s still to come. Which are the stories ahead and how will they effect us? Will they matter for the survival of this only planet of ours?

We need to make sure it does.

25% Back To Earth

The redew foundation is a non-profit foundation and all the work done with it is totally pro-bono. It’s only task is to transfer funds to benefit endangered species and their natural habitat.

Every year, redew gives 25% of it’s profits back to earth, through the redew foundation. This is made possible thanks to the fact that the redew foundation owns priority shares in redew. No matter what happens in the future, 25% will always be given back to earth.

If we all work together,
we can save this planet.

THE REDEW FOUNDATION

In 2016, redew gave 250 000 sek to the redew foundation and out of the 3 nominated projects, it was save the orangutan that got the most votes from you in our open vote at redew8.com.

Considering that the cutest may have won, we turned the 2017 prize into ”year of the ugly”. The winner in that years open vote was the painted dog conservation and once again 250 000 sek was given to the foundation by redew to benefit the survival of this species.

REDEW LABS
HOW WE MAKE R&D FOR GOOD

Redew labs is an important building block for redew. This is where new product ideas and collaborations come to life to challenge the current norm and prove that we can make it better. Here are just a few examples:

- The worlds first pure 100% copper button without galvanisation, in collab with metalbottoni.

- Zero Cotton, the worlds first cotton free jeans, but with the same look and feel, a concept in collab with isko.

- We’re extremely proud to be able to incorporate EPD® in our Open Book, an initiative by ISKO.
